WatchDoit was built with the purpose of letting the community decide on which instructional videos provide the best
and most useful content. We feel that a group of people working together, sharing videos, and providing instructional
content is the only way to learn. Everybody has useful knowledge to share with the rest of the world; we just wanted
to provide the on-line platform to display it!
WatchDoit, Inc. manages www.WatchDoit.com, the new Web site poised to become the premier place for “how-to” videos –
with an entertainment edge. Using a combination of original, user-created content and the best how-to video clips
available on the Internet, www.WatchDoit.com has created a community – and a hub – designed to teach web users how to
perfect a craft, master a new skill, or simply learn something new in a visual way.
Based in Fresno, CA, www.Watchdoit.com focuses on bringing together videos that are entertaining as well as
instructional, and cover topics ranging from everyday tasks to extreme sports and business skills. The idea for WatchDoit
was generated at the Lyles Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at California State University, Fresno, where
President Brendan Kane was a graduate student. WatchDoit is a recipient of venture capital funding from the Fresno-based
Bulldog Capital Partners.
Our WDI Approach
WatchDoit.com (WDI) has always been interested in new emerging technologies that enhance and improve our unique How-to Video content search engine. Every day users are on a search for How-to answers to their every day How-to problems. WDI’s goal is to search the web for the Best How-to videos to deliver these solutions using up-to-date technologies built to mine large amounts of video data and relevancy tools.

Board of Directors
R. Stephen Heinrichs
R. Stephen Heinrichs is Managing Partner of Bulldog Capital Partners; an investor in WatchDoit.
Heinrichs is also Chief Executive Officer of WatchDoit and has over 25 years of experience in the
creation of new businesses and their subsequent growth. Most of these companies have been
primarily software oriented.
He is a director of public companies PDF Solutions, Inc., Catapult Communications and Avistar
Communications.
Heinrichs is a 1968 graduate of California State University Fresno with a B.S. in Accounting.
He is a retired CPA. He currently serves on a number of University committees and is a member
of the University's Foundation Board of Governors.
James R. Vaux
James R. Vaux is Chairman of the Board of Directors and an investor in WatchDoit. Vaux has over
30 years of experience in sales management, marketing and businesses development in agricultural
with his main emphasis in the global vegetable seed industry. He still consults with companies
on a part-time basis as President/CEO of Vaux Group, Inc.
Vaux is also a director and partner in LuminArte, Inc. which develops and markets products worldwide
for the arts, crafts and home decorator markets.
Vaux is a graduate of California State University Fresno with a B.S. degree in Agribusiness.
He also participates on the Executive Committee of the Sigma Chi Alumni Association of Fresno.
Brendan Kane
Brendan Kane is President of WatchDoit. Kane has worked with local companies and businesses in all stages
of Web Development and Internet Marketing.
Kane is a graduate of California State Univerisity, Fresno with a B.S. degree in Computer Science emphasis
Web Development.
R. Michael Patton
R. Michael Patton is a director and investor in WatchDoit. Patton has forty years experience in mechanical
engineering, air conditioning contracting and management. He is currently president and owner of Patton Air
Conditioning, a ninety-year-old firm with headquarters in Fresno, CA.
Patton graduated from California State University Fresno in 1967 with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering
and completed his M.B.A. in 1972. He currently sits on several community non-profit boards including the
University’s Foundation Board of Governors.
Thomas Downing, DDS
Thomas Downing, DDS is a 1967 graduate of California State University Fresno and received his dental degree
from NYU College of Dentistry in 1974. He is a general dentist practicing in Fresno for 30 years.
Dr. Downing is chairman of the Board of Directors of Professional Exchange Service Corporation which provides
answering and paging services primarily for the Fresno medical community and also provides management and web
site services for professional and nonprofit membership associations. He is chairman of the oversight
committee for the Downing Planetarium at California State University Fresno and is also associated with
California Community Colleges as dental program advisor for Reedley College and Fresno City College.
